Login to your Instagram Bot Follower account using the following link: 2. On the left hand side menu, click on the Instagram icon - when you hover over it with the mouse you will see '**Accounts**' - this will take you to the page where you manage the accounts you're linking to the bot. 3. Click the New Account button to add your Instagram account. 4. Add your Instagram username and password in the Username and Password fields. 5. Select a verification method (choose between e-mail or mobile phone verification). **Instagram will send a verification code to the selected option in order to verify the account.** 6. **Recommended:** Add proxy address. If you don't have one, use the following guide [here](https://help.hyperibf.com/other/account-settings-and-security#adding-a-proxy). 7. Click the "Add Account" button. 8. Enter the 6-digit code you receive from Instagram via email or text message. Sometimes the code may take longer to arrive. The code must be entered without any spaces in between. \ **Example**: SMS arrived from instagram: 683 915 - The code to insert is: 683915. If you don't have an Instagram number, please check your email address associated with your Instagram profile and the spam section. 9. Click the confirm button. If the provided username and password information is correct, your Instagram account will be added successfully. **The instagram security gate might be activated first time you login. If this happens, you will need to login to Instagram through your internet browser and approve the login attempt manually.** {% hint style="info" %} #### Issues adding an account? Sometimes it can happen that you can't link your Instagram account to your Bot. There are several reasons, including the age of the account, an association such as Spam of the server's IP address by Instagram, etc.. If this is the case, try to follow these steps: * If you haven't already linked your Facebook profile to your Instagram profile, follow these steps to do so: Instagram → Settings → Linked accounts → Facebook * Reset Instagram account's password: While accessing the Instagram application click on "Forgotten password" and get a link to set a new password.\ After you have changed your password, try reconnecting your profile to the platform.\ If it still doesn't work, go to "edit profile" and click on "temporarily disable my profile". Select any media, a file, image or video from your PC, URL, Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive and start sharing your content to your Instagram account. 2. Add a caption or first comment, select schedule and the time and date of the post. 3. You can also add advanced settings. With this you can add any location to your posts. 4. The blue button labelled 'Post Now' will send your post to your Instagram account. ### Add A Story {% embed url="" %} You can add a story to your Instagram account too. Simply select "Add Story" on the second tab and fill out each field with your content. ### Add An Album {% embed url="" %} You can add an album to your Instagram account too. Simply select "Add Album" on the last tab and fill out each field with your content. # Calendar The calendar allows you to schedule and plan posts in advance. ### View By Account View your Instagram account's posts by the day, date and time they were published, in progress or failed. ### Schedule Posts In Advance Schedule all of your posts in advance. 1. Simply select the day and month you would like to post on and schedule the post. 2. See the date and time each individual post was published, in progress or failed on post level, rather than account level. # Captions Pre-set text which you can use on your image posts for increased engagement. ### What Are Captions? Captions are pre-set text which can be used on posts, saving you time in the future if you want to use the same caption. This can lead to a higher level of engagement for your accounts. ### How To Use Captions When you have created a caption under "captions" on the left hand side menu you can post directly to Instagram. ### How do you write a good caption on Instagram? * Include descriptive call to actions * Write a few drafts * Use emojis for extra engagement * Test your brand voice * Limit yourself with 4 hashtags ### Why is my caption not showing on Instagram? The caption may be too long if you are using hashtags - try reducing the amount to below 30 hashtags. # Auto Follow Our Auto Follow function is a sleek and sophisticated feature that will allow you to grow your audience organically on Instagram.
If you’re experimenting with the function for the first time, this is your guide to know all about it.
First of all, before starting out, make sure you have an active IBF account. If you do, follow the steps below:
1. First, make sure you added your Instagram account as [explained here](https://help.hyperibf.com/how-to-add-an-account). 2. Follow the “Auto Follow” icon on the left-hand side of your screen. 3. Here, you can select the account from the left column. Click on the account for which you want to enable the Auto Follow function. 4. On the top of your screen, you’ll see the option to follow either People, Hashtags, or Places. Select what works best for your account. For example, if your account is focused on food, you can choose “#deliciousfoods” as a potential hashtag. For accounts, @gordongram is a great example as Gordon Ramsay is a celebrity in the field. Lastly, places could be popular destinations for food or restaurants such as “Taco Bell”, “Dunkin’ Donuts” or simply your favorite restaurant.

Type your query in the search box and you’ll be prompted with matching results. 6\. Choose the speed at which you want to follow accounts or places. In “Advanced Options”, you’ll have several filters that you can use based on your preferences. * Gender: Select the gender to follow - Male, Female, or Both * No Private Profiles: Follow (Deactive) or Not Follow (Active) private profiles * Has Profile Picture: Follow (Active) or Not Follow (Deactive) profiles with a profile picture * Skip Business Profiles: Skip (Active) or Follow (Deactive) business profiles * Media Minimum Amount: The minimum media posted on the profiles to follow * Ignored Unfollowed Profiles: Skip (Active) or Follow (Deactive) Instagram profiles with no followers * Followers Min Amount: Minimum number of followers on the accounts to follow * Followers Max Amount: Maximum number of followers on the accounts to follow * Like + Follow: Like posts in addition to following accounts, hashtags, or places * Like count: The number of likes to give to profiles to follow * Blacklist: Add accounts, hashtags, or places you do not want to follow 8\. After that, select the time you want to auto-follow accounts - For example from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM. {% hint style="info" %} We recommend running the Auto follow function at night if you happen to use your Instagram account during the day. In fact, Instagram accounts can only be used on one device at a time. {% endhint %} 9\. Make sure to select the “Active” status. If the status is “Inactive”, the automation will not start. 10\. ### Activity Log In order to see the results of the Auto Follow campaign, head over to the Activity Log on top of the page, inside the Auto Follow section. Of course, after following some accounts for several purposes, you may want to unfollow them for other reasons.
Once you’ve [added your Instagram account](https://help.hyperibf.com/how-to-add-an-account), in order to use the Auto Unfollow feature, these are the steps to follow:
1. Once here, select the account for which you want to run the “Auto Unfollow” feature. 3. You will now see all the options available. First of all, you will see the speed option. You will find the “Don’t unfollow my followers”. If the box is ticked, you will keep on following your followers. Oppositely, if left unticked, our system will unfollow any account, regardless if they follow you or not. 5\. In “Source”, choose if you want to unfollow accounts previously followed using the “Auto Follow” option or any account. Upon selecting “Advanced Options”, you have additional filters to be used based on your preferences. * Unfollow Min: Define the minimum number of accounts to unfollow - The minimum is set to 15 by default * Unfollow Max: Define the maximum number of accounts to unfollow - The maximum is set to 25 by default * Delay Unfollow Min: Select the minimum amount of time between each unfollowed account - The minimum value is 3 minutes by default * Delay Unfollow Max: Select the maximum amount of time between each unfollowed account - The maximum value is 7 minutes by default * Min Delay Successful Unfollow: Determine the minimum pause after unfollowing the accounts - The minimum value set by the system is 21600. * Max Delay Successful Unfollow: Determine the maximum pause after unfollowing the accounts - The maximum value set by the system is 32400. * Min Delay Feedback Unfollow: Define the minimum pause when the feedback is required after unfollowing - The system’s default is 86400. * Max Delay Feedback Unfollow: Define the maximum pause when the feedback is required after unfollowing - The system’s default is 172800. * Blacklist: Add accounts, hashtags, or places you don’t want to unfollow 7\. After the Advanced Options, you have the feature to pause the Auto Unfollow option at defined times, for instance from 08.00 AM to 05.00 PM. {% hint style="warning" %} We advise you run the Auto Unfollow function during the night in case you use your Instagram account during the day. While our system is safe, Instagram accounts can be used on one device per time only. Above all, we do not recommend running both the Auto Follow and Auto Unfollow at the same time. In fact, it is not natural and your account may be flagged by Instagram for using an automated service. {% endhint %} The best practice is to run the Auto Follow one week and alternate to the Auto Unfollow the week after.
8\. On the “Status” option, make sure to add “Active” before clicking on Save. From here, you can see all the accounts unfollowed by the system and the time.
# Auto Like One of Instagram’s top functions for both engagement and marketing purposes is likes. Our IBF Auto Like feature can help to like posts, gaining visibility, and, ultimately, getting more organic followers.
To use the useful Auto Like function, this is how to proceed step by step:
1. Select the “Auto Like” icon on the left column of the navigation. 2. Once here, choose the account you would like to activate the “Auto Like” feature for. 3. You can see all the Auto Like features from here. First and foremost, select whether you want to like posts from specific accounts, hashtags, or places. For example, if you have a travel-related Instagram account and you want to like travel posts, you can type and select @thailand. 4\. Now that you have chosen the accounts or hashtags to like, select the like speed. Per default, the Automatic speed is set and we recommend leaving it this way, especially if you’re using the Auto Like for the first time. After that, you can select “Advanced Options” to have all the Auto Like filters. These come very handy and offer options such as “Like Min/Max” or “Min Delay Successful Like”. Once you filled in the optional Advanced Options, you will find the feature to pause the Auto Like feature at specific times. For instance, from 11.00 AM to 05.00 PM. Please note that Instagram accounts can be accessed only by 1 device at a time. So, if you use your phone or tablet to use your account during the day, we recommend you to run it while you don’t use Instagram.
6\. The last step is to select the “Active’’ before clicking on Save. You will see here all the posts that were liked by our system.
# Auto DM Direct messages are an important part of the Instagram system for marketing, engagement, and interactive purposes. However, messaging other accounts is not always easy nor manageable but it can help you gain visibility. This is where our Instagram Auto DM function comes in and revives your engagement.
Once you successfully added your Instagram account to the system, here is how to use our Auto DM function:
1. Select the “Auto DM” icon![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/2hRuD2ULmKU_nGPj-qVlbe9YfvoQDwhosD2XN4xm9tF3gCAEHFM847CY3PDII9BSm7cdGnBFvpZm4UVSCTVQxeY7aebU0EBbrOZ3I_ofhcHzO5VVdwG99uhp6ZBs-9jgy_rMcO_P=s0)located on the left-hand side of the dashboard. After that, click on the account you would like to use the Auto DM function for. 2. You will now see the main options. To start with, choose the Hashtags, Places, or People you’d like to auto DM. This is an easy feature to use. In case you want to send a message to photography-related accounts, for instance, you can type “Canon” or “Nikon” in People. Or, for more general queries, you can search specific places such as “Tower of London” and, lastly, hashtags like #travelphotography. This will ensure that you target the right accounts.

Choose between “Business”, “Personal”, or “Both” * Media Min Amount: Choose here the minimum number of posts that each account must have before messaging them. Leave empty if you have no preference. * Followers Min Amount: Choose here the minimum number of followers that each account must have before messaging them. Leave empty if you have no preference. * Followers Max Amount: Choose here the maximum number of followers that each account must have before messaging them. Leave empty if you have no preference. * Min Delay Feedback DM: Define the minimum pause when feedback is required- The system’s default is 3600. * Max Delay Feedback DM: Define the maximum pause when feedback is required- The system’s default is 7200. 5\. When all the optional Advanced Options are filled in, you can select the specific times to pause the Auto DM function. You will then see your message underneath the box. Once your message is added, click on “Save”.
Most importantly, we recommend writing 3 different messages. In fact, when using the same template continuously, your account may be flagged by Instagram for spam.
### Activity Log Now that you filled in all the options and typed your message, head over to the Activity Log, at the top of the screen. Here, you will see all the accounts that you sent a message to.

But if you have an increasing number of new followers, constantly finding the time to message them can be daunting. And this is exactly where, in addition to our Auto DM feature, the Auto DM function for new followers excels.
You will be able to send an automated message to each new follower in order to gain traction with your profile. Here is your full step-by-step guide to using the Auto DM (New Followers) function after adding your account to our system:
1. From here, type your message in the text box. You can use the variables below to personalize your DM:

Once you typed the message and added the media, click on “Add Message”. You will now see your message underneath the box. Click on Save.
It’s important to note that, just like the Auto DM function, we recommend writing and adding 3 different messages. When constantly using the same message, the Instagram system may see your messages as spam. ### Activity Log After selecting all your favorites options, typed the message to auto DM, and activated the function, you will see the full report on Activity Log.
From here, you can see the DMs that were sent to each account as well as the time for better tracking.

Finding the right content for your profile isn’t always easy and the social platform is filled with unmatching content. ### Search Options Once you are in the Best Content Search function, first select the account for which you need to find content. You can do so by clicking on the drop-down menu above the button “GO”.

For instance, if you need to analyze the content from Nike, you will need to select “@Username” and type “Nike”. On the other hand, if you want to analyze the posts including the hashtag “photography”, you can simply select “#Hashtag” and input “photography”.
Please note that the system will not provide a list of results after typing the query into the search box.
Lastly, before launching your query, choose how many results to show - 50, 150, or 300. Finally, click on GO.
### Query Results and Filters Once the results are displayed, you will see all the statistics available on top as follow:
* Average likes * Maximum number of likes * Average number of comments * Maximum number of comments The posts are sorted by the number of likes by default. Lastly, you have the filters “Min Likes” and “Min Views” available to select the minimum number of likes and views on the posts.
### Repost Instagram Content The first interesting feature of the Best Content Search, other than filtering the results, is to repost the content found on Instagram.
As you can see on the screenshot above, on top of each post, the function “Repost” is shown. When clicking on it, you will be redirected to the repost feature.

It is recommended to use a proxy from the same country as country used to login to the Instagram account through browser/mobile device. From the accounts page click on the account you wish to change and click **Edit.** 2. You should see the account settings page. 3. Click **Only clear the cookies** box. 4. Add in your password and click **Save Changes**. # Missing Caption/First Comment How to fix missing caption/first comment issue when posting a new post ## Have you tried scheduling your post? Sometimes this issue can occur when your Instagram Bot Follower and Instagram accounts timezones are not set the same. When your account is disabled/banned with Instagram, you can recover the account using this [form](< https://help.instagram.com/contact/1652567838289083>). The entire process roughly takes **3 - 7 days** as Instagram gets a lot of requests through this form. Within the template questionnaire there will be a question regarding for what reason your account may have been suspended/blocked. You can answer something related to this: “I think my account was disabled by mistake. Please recover my Instagram account. I do not purposely ignore Instagram terms and rules”. Instagram may also ask you to send a photo or government ID to verify that you indeed own the Instagram account. Please note that for business accounts Instagram may also ask for a bill or a bank statement featuring the business name. Once the form is completed and sent you will hear back a reply back in your associated email address. # Consent Required Error How to fix consent\_required error message You may experience error message "consent\_required" when adding in an Instagram account to our bot. The error message appears when your Instagram account has not been fully set up yet. To fix this do the following steps: 1. Log into your Instagram account using a mobile application. 2. Finish setting up the Instagram account and add in as much information/answer all data protection questions. 3.
