# DM Requests

Automatically reply to incoming message requests to keep your audience engaged.

HyperVote will generate alot of interest on your account, and some users will reach out via DMs and an automated reply can improve communications.

DM Requests is available for all users from Midi Plan upwards

1. Turn on reply to DM requests by checking the **checkbox.**
2. Select **don't like last message** to turn off this setting.
3. Select **don't mute threads** to turn off this setting.
4. Enter your replies using [**Spintax**](/other/spintax.md)**.**
5. Remember to **save** your settings.

By default, the DM Requests tool will turn off notifications, like the last message and mark the last message as seen. Turn these settings off by checking the checkboxes.
